This position is based in Fujairah, UAEResponsibilities / Requirements:Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience in power and water desalination plant.Assist the Assistant Shift Charge / Operation Engineer in the run-up, shutdown and safe operation of the steam plants, combined cycle plants, auxiliaries and support equipment.Carry out 415V electrical and mechanical isolations (under supervision) for maintenance work to be carried out.Carry out frontline condition monitoring and issue job cards when necessary.Conduct daily, weekly and monthly operational tests and plant inspection.Assist the Assistant Shift Charge / Operations Engineer in manning the unit control panel and review computer printout and operator console displays of operating parameters.Compute daily units generated works units, fuel oil / natural gas consumption and fuel efficiency.Carry out checks on energy and water conservation.Application details:English is the business language.
