This position is based in Fujairah, UAEResponsibilities:Assist the Assistant / Shift Charge Engineers in the run-up, shutdown and safe operation of the steam plants, combined cycle plants, auxiliaries and support equipment.Carry out 6.6V/415V electrical and mechanical isolations for maintenance work to be carried out.Carry out frontline condition monitoring of all plants and equipment and issue job cards when necessary.Monitor and ensure the reliability of all EHV and HV networks and feeders connected to the power station.Execute the safe isolation of the equipment/plant.Man the unit control panel and review computer printout and operator console displays of operating parameters. Take necessary steps to correct deviations.Monitor energy and water conservation.Assist in the training of the Power Plant Operators through on-the-job training programme.Requirements:Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Power & Water Desalination Plant.Application details:English is the business language.
