This position is based in Fujairah, UAEResponsibilities: Overall responsibilities for the shift operation of water desalination plant, RO plant and combined cycle power plant.Supervise and ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the water and power plant. Liaise with the Authorities for water and power production.Review plant performance data and take necessary corrective action.Carry out investigation on major plant defects and/or forced outages; and to prepare reports with findings for rectification.Enforce safe working condition in the plant by means of the Permit-to-Work (PTW) systemCarry out 400 /132KV Extra High Voltage switching and isolations.Commissioning of new switchgear, power plant/equipment. Review and update operational procedures.Responsible for the training and development of Assistant Shift Charge Engineers, Operations Engineers and Operators in his shift group.Appraise the conduct and work performance of all staff in his shift groupRequirements:Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Power & Water Desalination Plant.Application details:English is the business language.
